Michael Forrest - Resident Artist
Michael Forrest is an Isle of Wight based artist and sculptor who works in a number of mediums including vitreous enamel. Recent enamel projects include 'Orangutan' and 'The Catch'
'The Catch' was part of an urban regeneration project for the New Partners collaborative commission between Island 2000 Trust, A&B and A.J Wells & Sons. The artwork is on permanent display at Venture Quays, East Cowes, Isle of Wight. A combination of spraying, screen printing and hand painting was used to create the artwork which was produced on 2mm enamelled steel to allow it to curve around the wall. |
